It could do this for 77 minutes on one cleaning, and then the battery was exhausted. Contrary to other robovacs that we test, the i3+ EVO features a self-emptying bin that dumps debris into an external dirt compartment on its charging base when it's full. The i3+ EVO is able to prevent overfilling thanks to a self-emptying container. However it still needs to be manually emptied at the end of each cleaning session. The i3+ EVO's built-in dustbin holds 2.4L of debris, which is enough to last five or four cleaning sessions before needing to replace it. The i3+ EVO, just like the i7, uses cutting-edge floor-tracking sensors to create maps. It also lets you navigate in neat rows. However the i3+ EVO only stores one map, whereas the i7 is able to store multiple maps. The i7 can also use its map to create no-go zones and virtual barriers, but the i3+ EVO is not able to do this. While the i3+ EVO is more effective in removing surface debris than some of the other robovacs we reviewed, it's not the best when it comes to cleaning edges and corners. It's also not as gentle on furniture, despite being surprisingly quiet. It pulled chairs away from walls, and made some collisions with the sides of our bed, and it got stuck on cords and toys during our testing. 2. Black & Decker Q5 Pro The Q5 Pro is an excellent option, whether you're expanding your collection of robot vacuums or just starting out. It's the most efficient pound-for pound model currently available and is even better than some of Roborock's more expensive models in several ways. It's only downside is that it's noisier than other models and doesn't do as well in our satisfaction of the owner and predicted reliability tests. The Q5 Pro has a very large 770ml dust bin that means you won't need to empty it as often as other 2-in-1 robots. The 240-minute runtime is quite generous in comparison to other robots we've tried. If the battery is empty it returns to its dock and recharges, before starting cleaning where it stopped. You can manage the Q5 Pro via the app and also use voice commands using Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant. This is the first robot we've seen with 3D mapping. This along with other advances, helped it perform exceptionally well in our tests of vacuuming and mopping tests. It allows you to schedule cleanings, set no-go zones, and view the status of the battery, among other things. The app is easy to use, but it does not support Apple HomeKit and that feature is expected to be available by 2025. As of early November, Apple has updated a footnote on its website to indicate that the feature will be delayed until 2025. The device has long battery life, and the vacuum container is automatically empty. The TP-Link RV30 Plus is a great vacuum cleaner for standard mess. It can also be used to gently mop on hard floors. It comes with a replacement mopping cloth and sweeping brush as well as a HEPA filter. It can be paired with a smart home hub such as Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant for convenient voice control.
